I feel like he could be a great guy some day with real counseling, but he had some serious issues that just don't change over a course of eight months. I would love to take him back, but there has to be serious and obvious change that he has willingly made! He never cheated, he was an awesome boyfriend, but his temper and his constant mopping around just drove me away!

Very rarely in my opinion, does going back to an ex end up well. Every now and again, you do have people that just got together too young etc. but if the break up was due to abuse, cheating, lying etc. then stay away and DO NOT return.
