If an ex boyfriend broke up with you and then decided down the road that he made a mistake, would he attempt to contact you and let you know how he feels-especially if he knows you care?

Yea, i would say so. I broke up with my ex boyfriend 3yrs ago and even today he realizes i had reason and he would wish to have me back and always tries to call and hangout but a lost chance is a lost chance. if its meant to be itll find its way

Relationships break down all the time and breakups are not uncommon. At some point in your life the chances are you will be involved in a breakup. If you have reached the point of breakup already you will be very familiar with the heartache involved and the emotional challenges you will face. The truth is, at some point this happens to even the very best of us and it can happen for a number of different reasons. You will have an idea hopefully about why that is but all is not lost if you truly do want your ex back!
The emotions that hold the ties of the relationship are often very similar and there are things you can do to help your situation. Firstly do not get all needy and call your ex all the time. This is not the way to go and is often a mistake that many make. Instead you need to be calm about the whole situation and think rationally. Remember why your now ex actually fell for you. Try to remember what things were like in the beginning and what you both did to nurture that relationship at the very start. What has changed since then? Have you since lacked things from the relationship you once did often that your partner loved you for, for example?
There are also other little bits and pieces you need to do. If you have become part of your partners family circle – keep in touch! Send cards on birthdays and call to see how they are. If you are very close make visits. Always make the effort to look nice. Dress yourself in a way that benefits your appearance as you may never know when you could bump into your partner again and a fresh pair of eyes on you at your best could get the thought coming back that were there right at the beginning of the relationship. It also helps boost your own confidence when you feel good about the way you look and that will radiate from you also making the desire even greater.
