Anybody who has broken up and ended up getting back together for good?

How long were you broken up for and why did you break up?
My ex and I have been talking and hanging out lately, very casually, but I think I might still have feelings for him, and I think he feels the same way. We broke up because we were both going through a stressful time and were just arguing too much, so I’m worried we’ll end up the same way again.
Has it ever worked out for anybody getting back together with their ex?

Yes, I broke up with my husband two years before we got married. He was jealous of my ex because he though I still had feelings for him. I didn’t. He realized that and after about six months I took him back. We’ve been married five years now.

Went out with this boy for about 8 months, broke up for about a week then got back together and have been going out for about 2 years now.
yes myself and my wife split up for six months we lost our daughter to leaukimia so as you could imagine emotions were running out of control and the situation was rather hostile from both sides after a time we just missed each other so much we always kept communication negative an positive tday we have been married for 10 years and love each other to death sheis my best friend in the whole world
i’d never get back with any of my ex’s and i’m sure the feeling is mutual with them. of course your gona develop feelings for him your back hanging out and you havent had anytime to get over him. I’d cut him loose and move on but do whatever you want to do
I met my husband when I was 12 years old. He was my 1st real boyfriend and 1st guy I had sex with. We went out for two months shy of 2 years and I broke up with him. We then got back together and broke up. Few years went by, we moved on but stayed in touch. I got married to someone else. 5 years later my marriage fell apart and we got back together. We will be married for 11 years next June.

When I first met my husband, I was 19. I was never in a Long term Relationship before and I was scared of getting into a “Steady Relationship”. So 3 months after dating, I called it off. But we ended up getting back together after the Lord Spoke to my heart…3 years later here we are Madly in love and Starting a Family.
Hey, here’s my story…
My bf and i had been going out for a week, i cheated on him one night with my ex, i had a lot going on in that point of my life and turnt to my ex for comfort. My bf and i split, he was heartbroken and did not talk to me for an entire month. I thought i had lost him and was really upset. Then a month later i saw him, we spoke very casually and nicely to each other, half an hour after i left the place we were at i received a txt from him saying how it was lovely to see me. After that text the messages just kept flowing back and forth back and forth for a week, and then we got back together. It took a while for him to trust me again but eventually it came. Three years later we are still together, have recently moved into our own place together and are as happy as happy.
I think if it’s ment to be it will happen.

if you find another person, that is also nice. you’ll be thankful for breaking up. you’ll be mad at yourself, that you went through things with him.
